Merry Christmas!

First of all, I'm sorry, Thea, but this post deserves to be the last post before Christmas day.

Sad? Depressed? Suicidal? Gloomy? *insert synonym here*?

THEN WORRY NO MORE! For here's the thing that could take all of those away!
Come on and celebrate! Wear your dancing shoes and party dresses, turn the stereo on and jive to the beat. Here's the gift we've all been waiting for!

You better watch out, you better not pout. You better not cry, I'm telling you why...

you wish... SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

And here's Sir Nat's gift for us all... :D

*each gift is wrapped, whether with paper or put in a box... but he knows we're too excited for this gift*

Enjoy your gift! :D

*edit this post for additional stuff*

Because I felt bad if I edited Thea's post because she was so intent on it being the last post and it didn't feel right to edit it, but since Kenneth posted anyway.. :))

Details on requirements.

STR

Mini-Research Plan
This is specified on Page 29 of the Intel Forms, under Research Plan Instructions. Be sure to read the whole page (and not just A-D). A-D should be fairly easy, if you took the requirements the past few quarters seriously. For 1-4, do them when applicable to your research.

Abstract
Since most of us aren't familiar with writing abstracts: be sure to write what it's about, why you're doing it, how you're going to do it, and what its significance is. Do not exceed 250 words, and it has to fit in one page. Also, please, check your grammar. 8D

Intel forms
Are due when we get back. Download them here, fill them up, ask concerned people to sign. (You only need the forms that are, again, applicable to your research, so if you don't have human test subjects, you don't need the forms for that.)

Java

Project
You have the entire first week of January to do this, but if you feel like it, then start during the break, since Sir Paulo made the work easy to divide by making two modules already. A copy from Cs is here, if you've already lost yours.

WebDev

Project
Ung parang movie na may play/pause? /I don't really know. D:
/*
yeah. the Project!

You need a series of pictures of you and your partner (at least 30 pictures yata :)
Then, make a creative html page that will show your pictures like a gif format.
Of course, no using of gif picture or whatever. I think we need to use loops or something about JavaScript. :-bd

The project is due on our first meeting.
Hell yeah. January 3.
To be submitted on a CD.
*/

Health

Quiz
Coverage is the stuff in the handout, which K posted a copy of here, although it seems like a big file because it's taking a long time to load. :))

Project
The baby book! Refer to this document. It has the groupings listed inside na rin. :)

English

Reaction paper
Write a reaction paper about Serve the People, found in your readings, along with the Taoist poems. It's 10% of your grade. Sir didn't specify a format. As for the word count, he originally said 400 plus/minus ten percent, but when Thea asked it was 400 minimum, so safest would be around 400-440. :P

Perio
Results are out. :O

On another note, you might want to look for a copy of Memoirs of a Geisha, our fourth quarter reading, already. :)

SocSci

Project?
Actual tarpaulin: 3x6, portrait and presentation in class.

Notebook
Pass your notebooks with complete homeworks, the bonus essay (if you opt to do it), and notes, of course.

Bio

Bonus
Give an example of a completely ectothermic mammal as well as 2 other facts that make it different from other mammals (hint: did you use to watch Kim Possible?). Cite your reference/s.

Play Pandemic 2 and Bacteria Tower Defense and send me screencaps of your wins (via email: toledo98@yahoo.com).

Complete the muscle jigsaw here and send me a screencap (via email: toledo98@yahoo.com). You can choose either the male or female muscles.

5. Exposure of the torso area should be kept decent and reasonable (no more than 2 inches above or bellow the belly button).
6. Shorts and short skirts (skirts which end 3 or more inches above the knee) are prohibited.
7. Flip-flops, wooden clogs (bakya) or any other similar footwear are not allowed.

1. Wear a decent long-sleeved polo.
- The wearing of t-shirts, collared or otherwise, is improper and is therefore highly discouraged.
- Shoulders and upper arms should not be exposed.
2. Formal attire should be worn on the night itself (coat and tie or barong).
3. Footwear shall be closed leather shoes. Sandals, rubber shoes, or any other similar footwear are not allowed.
4. The wearing of earrings is strictly prohibited.
5. Wear slacks. Denim, hip-hop, or any other similar type of pants are not allowed.
6. Underwear shall not pick over the pants' waistline.
7. The wearing of caps or any other headgear is deemed as severely improper, and is therefore highly discouraged.

For any clarifications, you may refer to pages 31 and 32 of the PSHS Student Handbook or you may approach any 2012 Councilor. Those who will fail to comply with the above guidelines shall be denied entry to the venue. Ignorance of such guidelines shall not be excused.

Rental services of prom attire will be available. More information about the rentals as well as forms for those who wish to avail of such services will be released by the 2nd working week of January 2011.

For your information and compliance. Thank you.
